I saw this movie last night with my brother, sister, and my sister’s boyfriend. We went to a theater that typically has a lot of independent films that are risky because you never know if they’re gonna be good or not. Luckily, Paper Man was really good. I’m not a review writer so that’s all I’m gonna say. Here’s the trailer incase you might want to see the movie:

… called DeviantART about a month ago, so I could share my portfolio with other artists online and get feedback. But I have to say that by far my favorite thing to do on it, is to browse other people’s artwork. Some of it is absolutely AMAZING. Here are some of my favorites:

So, the LOST series finale event is tonight from 6pm-10:30pm (Central Time)…
I don’t know what I am going to do after tonight. Except probably to re-watch the entire series over the summer! Well, maybe not. But here is a post card I took from the Post Secret website a couple weeks ago:
Good luck, dude, ’cause you’ll find out how you’re gonna feel tonight. I don’t know why you are so worried though, because you can always re-watch it. That’s what DVDs are for!!!!!
Alice in Nightmare-Land

I started watching a really CREEPY version of Alice in Wonderland last night. It’s a film from 1988 by director Jan Svankmajer, called Alice. The only actress is the girl who plays Alice, Kristýna Kohoutová. I thought this would be interesting to watch, but instead it was just really, really creepy. I’m surprised I didn’t have nightmares after watching on about an hour of it. The only other characters I got to see before I stopped watching were the White Rabbit and the Door Mouse. Both were done by using eerie, taxidermed animals with stop-motion animation. Another reason it was freaky was because the little girl does all the voices which are promptly followed by a close-up of her mouth saying something along the lines of, “sighed the White Rabbit,” or, “Alice thought to herself.” What made it even worse, was that when Alice sipped from the “drink me” bottle, she would shrink and turn into a scary little doll that would walk around (stop-motion again).
ICK.
To give a better idea of what this was like, here are some screenshots I took as I was watching:

… I spent a good amount of money on a new MacBook Pro because I knew I would need it for school next fall. I LOVE IT. And one of my favorite features (although, to a lot of people it might seem like a minor thing) is the stacks option. All you do is make a new folder and drag it into the far right section of the Dock. Then you can just click on it, and see a preview of all its contents. For example, I am an artist, so naturally I keep a portfolio of all my work. I just put my portfolio down into the Dock and it becomes a Stack. Now I can just take a quick look and skim through if I need to find a particular piece, or if I want to show anything to someone. It’s GREAT.
See, like I said, to some it probably seems like a small thing that wouldn’t be of much help. But to ME, it makes organizing all my work a cinch, and since I am definitely a visual person, I like being able to just pull it up like that too.
